I’m the lead (and only) developer for TouringPlans.com, the website of the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World. Before that, I was a developer for TechCrunch, and before that, team captain for the Northern Bites. Grew up going to Disney World, now go to Disneyland every month, and when I’m home, I’m building web and mobile apps for the Disney ecosystem.

I have been going to Walt Disney World for 35 years (first time at age 2) and have loved all 29 trips. I have experienced the world as a child, a performer, an adult and a parent. Working in technology and being the son of a high school computer science teacher, I have always been interested in computers, gadgets and how things work. This podcast will allow me to merge both of these loves into one creative outlet: The Mouse+Tech. Not to mention getting to chat with four other cool mouse geeks.

I have been a Disney fan my entire life; being indoctrinated at a young age. I’ve lost count of how many trips to Walt Disney World and Disneyland I have taken a long time ago; however I do visit both coasts at least once a year with my wife and young son. While I don’t have a career in technology, I am interested in consumer electronics and their potential to change our lives. I was a Cast Member at Disney MGM Studios during 1996 and 1997. I am also the co-host of the WEDway Radio podcast with my brother, Matt.

Throughout my childhood my parents took our family to Disneyland almost every year for a ten year stretch. I can remember walking through Tomorrowland when I was eight years old and telling my mom I wanted to be an Imagineer. I never quite lived that dream, but my fascination with technology and Disney has never waned and I grew up to be a web developer. Taking my passions of Disney and development, I’ve merged them together to create Dizcollect.com. BetaMouse is another way for me to reach down into that eight year old boy’s mind and become fascinated with and explore where technology and Disney meet. Twitter, Facebook

My fiance and I took our first trip to Disney together as “just a trip”. It quickly became a tradition. In 2008 we became Disney Vacation Club members. I have a passion for DVC as it has given me so many opportunities to come down and see friends and meet new ones while at the World. After years of enjoying podcasts and sites I recently ventured into starting my own site about the Disney Vacation Club and also co-host a photo blog with WDW Today personality and Studios Central webmaster, Matt Hochberg.
