Well, all you number #1 fans of the Betamouse podcast out there, the time has come to say goodbye. 3 of us are starting new gigs in January, the other two are insanely busy, so it’s time to hang up our super expensive and high quality microphones, and ride out into the digital sun.

This is a sad day indeed. I’ve been listening to you five since episode 1, though I haven’t really been an active participant.
I loved the different, analytic approach you guys (and girl) took in approaching the current Disney parks and their future potential. Everyone seemed to really have a passion for not only the Mouse, but the tech involved as well – which was great. I also loved the out-takes at the end.

Nate nailed this fact on his Facebook post but BetaMouse was my first Disney podcast about 2 years ago. Being a Disney fan and working in IT it was a natural fit. Betamouse then led me to Wedway followed by Mousetalgia. All five of you and betamouse itself will be deeply missed. Crusher! I can’t believe this! This was probably the most interesting show on Disney as it talked about something no one else is: Technology and Disney. I’ve especially loved the conversations on how Lines works, endlessly fascinating.

I listen to many Disney podcasts, but Betamouse was always one of the first I’d listen to, because it mixed my two passions.

The announcement took me by surprise, but while a little bit of me died inside (sniff/sniff) I can’t help but be supremely grateful for all of the hours of excellent geekiness that you all provided.
