Thanks to the laborious efforts of our very own Nate Parrish (of Wedway Radio fame), we’re eager to let you in on an internal Code Review we’ve conducted. It may sound like a bunch of random clips from the last two years of Betamouse rockingness — but I assure you, this is an internal metrics document used to gauge Podcasting performance for each of the hosts. Its similarity to a fitting, end-of-series clip show is a biproduct we have simply learned to deal with.
On our penultimate show, we thought it would be fitting to take a look forward, as well as backwards, to see what the Parks are going to be like in the next 5 years, and talk about the stuff that gets us amped, jazzed, and makes our individual Shrunken Ned’s Junior Jungle Boat’s float!
(seen here: Henry and Nate; picture taken by Scott; not seen here: Jeff and Katie; your task: imagine the Betamouse five, plus all of our listeners ever in a massive group hug)
Well, all you number #1 fans of the Betamouse podcast out there, the time has come to say goodbye. 3 of us are starting new gigs in January, the other two are insanely busy, so it’s time to hang up our super expensive and high quality microphones, and ride out into the digital sun.
WE’VE GOT TWO MORE EPISODES, THOUGH!
One will be out later next week, 22nd/23rd. The final episode, however, WE’RE DOIN’ IT LIVE::
December 27th, 8pm ET, 5pm PT (9am the next morning in the Philippines), live on MouseWorldRadio and on http://betamouse.net/live — we’ll be accept calls and talking about Disney and Technology for a change. We hope you all can make it!
This episode we dive into the wonderful world of push notifications, and their potential power to improve the pre-trip, mid-trip, post-trip experiences. We’re joined by MousetalgiaDave Breiland and Henry has the worst microphone possible. Enjoy!
SORCERERS OF THE MAGIC KINGDOM is on our collective minds again this week. Joined by special guest and TouringPlans.com researcher Scarlett Litton, who was lucky enough to see Sorcerers being playtested in the wild, we talk about further developments in this new attraction coming to the Magic Kingdom in early 2012. Also check these new images released by the Disney Parks Blog.
This week we talk about the sudden, and potentially experimental, introduction of free wireless internet at various Walt Disney World resorts! At long last, there was much rejoicing.
